Who May Join

Membership is open to companies who produce products in Pennsylvania. Any other interested companies may join as associate members.

Members stipulate which products and in which markets they want the Cooperative to represent them. Competitor companies may apply for membership since this permits the buyer greater flexibility and choice. There are no company size limitations to membership acceptance.

Members' Obligations

Members must sign a Market and Product Declaration for domestically and overseas markets, stating products, market segments, countries or regions of the US which are to be excluded from the Coop's activities. This form should be updated promptly as the member's products and markets change.

Members must have an email account to facilitate communications.

Members must pay promptly annual dues as well as all fees for trade shows and trade missions.

Members are expected to participate in Coop activities such as member meetings, questionnaires, membership email inquiries, Coop committees and service on the Board of Directors.

Members must provide samples and point of sale materials that are properly packaged in sufficient quantities within the stated deadline for all Coop marketing events.

Members must make no effort whatsoever to circumvent the sale of products designated to the Cooperative's account to markets assigned to the Cooperative, either abroad or in the U.S.

Members must request approval of the Board of Directors, at least 60 days in advance, to participate individually in an event at which the Coop will be representing members' products.

Members may not assist in any Coop trade event, display or exhibit unless invited to do so.
